With a degree in Economics and Business Studies from the University of Deusto, she completed her education with executive programmes from the International Institute for Management Development.She began working at Iberdrola in 1998 and has spent most of her professional career with the company.

She participated on the front line of the company's transformation from a national company in the electricity sector to a world-class energy multinational. She has played a key role in the implementation of a range of systems and technologies in the retail department since the beginning of energy liberalisation until today, when the company sells gas, electricity, products andservices and smart solutions to more than 23 clientsin eight countries.

She worked in the UK as Project Manager for the implementation of Scottish Power's commercial system from 2011 to 2014. She has been responsible for Planning, International Expansion and Smart Solutions at Iberdrola since 2018, working on a team that globally manages operations in all the countries in which Iberdrola sells electricity, gas, and products and services.
