A Law graduate, an MBA degree holder from IE Business School, and a graduate of the Senior Management in Digitalisation Programme at ISDI, Enrique Valero has dedicated himself to the world of wine for over 20 years. For more than a decade, he has been at the forefront of the Abadía Retuerta LeDomaine winery, with the Ribera del Duero designation of origin.

In 2017, he was also appointed the Managing Director of the abbey hotel that owns the winery. Over the course of these years heading the winery, Valero has launched and promoted two important projects: The Craft Club in Madrid in 2013, and the Academia del Terruño initiative in 2018. In 2015, he received the Best Quality Management award, bestowed by Castilla y León Económica.

It is also worth mentioning that Abadía RetuertaLeDomaine has been acknowledged as a promoter of gender equality by Óptima Castilla y León, and by the City Council of Valladolid.
