Susana García Espinel is Director of Santander SmartBank, Banco Santander’s bank for young people, leading new ways of relating to young people through innovation and technology with a value proposition focussed on the life cycle. Since 2015, she is also responsible for defining Banco Santander’s higher education support strategy, leading Santander Universities and Universia España.

She has extensive experience in the field of education and strategic consulting and is the first women to lead these areas on a unified basis within Grupo Santander. Susana holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University College of Financial Studies (CUNEF) and has great responsibility as a professional and as a mother of four children. She feels privileged to be able to contribute to people's progress by leading initiatives of great impact within Banco Santander.
